This morning I managed to catch the birds off the nest.

Look how big this baby is now and it is only 4 days old!

Daddy sits on the babies during the day, and Mummy sits on them at night, here they are switching turns.

Now Mummy is on there for the night.

She is waiting for me to go away before she settles on top of the baby to keep him warm.

This is Mummy bird sitting on the nest, I was trying to get her to move so I could see if the other egg had hatched but she wouldn't move. I even touched her with my hand and she just hit my hand with her wing and tried to bite me.

Here is baby on Saturday morning.

He is looking a little fluffier today.

He is growing quickly, he already looks too big to go in the egg.

This is what I found this morning, a new baby bird!

They have pink skin under their yellow fluff and their beaks are a whitish colour with a little black on them.

Their eyes aren't open yet, they just look like black bulges on their head.

Daddy is back on the babies. He sits on them all day.

I saw a pigeon sitting in the corner of the balcony on a beautifully made nest. I wonder what is underneath him?
